2008 – Grands Prix québécois de la qualité
Teknika HBA's excellence was recognized at the Grands Prix québécois de la qualité awards ceremony during which it was awarded a 2008 Mention in recognition of its outstanding results in management practices applied to all aspects of its operations. The Grands Prix québécois de la qualité seek to highlight the work of private firms and public-sector organizations that have successfully applied continuous improvement principles to all aspects of their operations and obtained outstanding results. |
2008 – Défi Meilleurs Employeurs
Teknika HBA was awarded the Grand Prize in the Large Employer category (500+ employees) at Défi Meilleurs Employeurs 2008 for the considerable value it gives to the quality of life in the workplace. Défi Meilleurs Employeurs honours businesses that have taken the opportunity to measure themselves against and compare themselves with their peers in order to become better employers. |
2008 – Bruno Award – Sherbrooke's Volunteer Firm of the Year
To outline our contribution to the Sherbrooke region, Teknika HBA was named Volunteer Firm of the Year at the Tribute to Volunteers ceremony within the context of Volunteer Week. |
2008 – Energy Wise Gala of Excellence
We have received three citations of excellence during Hydro-Québec's Energy Wise Competition of Excellence for the following energy efficiency projects: Hippopotamus – Modernization of the Granby Zoo, Centre intégré de formation et d'innovation technologique (CIFIT) in Victoriaville and for renovations made at our Victoriaville office. |
2008 – Mercuriades
Winner of a Mercure in the "Large Business – Professional Services" category. Organized by the FCCQ, Les Mercuriades competition aims at recognizing and promoting the achievements of private Québec firms. |
2008 – Gala Reconnaissance Estrie
Our president and CEO, Wilfrid Morin, was named Grand Estrien 2008 by the Sherbrooke Chamber of Commerce during the Gala Reconnaissance Estrie. Also a winner in the "Large Service Firms" section. We have not only won in this category, but we have also received a special citation in the "Human Resources Development" section. |

Teknika HBA received, from the Canadian Construction Association, an award of excellence for the first Gold Seal certified condominium project in Québec for its commitment to promoting excellence in construction management and the Canadian Construction Association's Gold Seal Certification Program. |

Winner at the Énergia competition in the "Industrial Processes" category for its Exothermic Conversion of the Polymerization Process project in collaboration with Gurit Canada Inc. |
2007 – Hydro-Québec's 2007 BOMA Award – SIQ's Complexe scientifique
This award was given to managers of the Complexe scientifique, owned by the Société immobilière du Québec, for the integration of different energy efficiency measures and energy-efficient equipment in a new real estate construction for their project on the optimization of the chilled water plant and heating system operations. |
2006 – North American Award / International Bronze Award – HOLCIM INTERNATIONAL FOUNDATION FOR SUSTAINABLE CONSTRUCTION
Given to Groupe L'OEUF and its collaborators, that is, Martin Roy, Mario Gendron and Teknika HBA, for the 187 multi-residential unit Benny Farm complex, project carried out for Canada Lands Company Limited. |
