OSMOS exploits the guided optics technology to record variations in elongation. The OSMOS technology is based on the principle of intensity modulation using analogue attenuation measurements. Offering very reliable solutions for an optimal quality-price ratio, this technology only requires a minimum of electronic and mechanical components.

The optical cord is an innovative and particularly precise measurement system allowing the recording of distributed distortions and is available in different configurations. Sheated with silicone, it can be directly fixed on the surface of the structure to be monitored. With its monitoring system intended for buildings, civil engineering structures and industrial equipment, OSMOS offers long-term control, recording in real time, thanks to components installed on the structure. The OSMOS technology is the only one to indifferently monitor static and dynamic impacts using the same equipment. Modifications in form and position can be monitored with maximum accuracy. The behaviour of the controlled structure thus becomes predictable. Data are recorded and presented in real time.
