Wastewater purification station
Large, deep aerated ponds (6 and 7 metres, 150 000 m³).
Disinfection of elevated Ph level municipal water with the help of paper mill waters.
Average flow of water to be treated: 15 100 m³/d.
Acclimatized DBO 5 load: 6 250 kg/d
(115 000 equivalent persons).
Aeration by lined air jets in the fully mixed pond, and by floating aerators in the two partially mixed ponds.
Sludge drainage by a floating dredger of settling cells and ponds.
Settling cells for primary sludge and elevated-PH level disinfection (2 x 5 000 m³).
Neutralization of sulphuric acid.
Aerated ponds (one fully mixed and two partially mixed).
Sludge storage ponds.
Sludge drainage by a floating dredger.
