SERVICES RENDERED
Teknika HBA
was first mandated to perform all engineering works related to preparatory works for the installation of control systems. These works mainly included the relocation of 735 kV inductance protections to free physical space for the installation of the new system.
In a second phase, we proceeded to the motorization of disconnecting switches which were to be operated by the new system, made modifications to the control of 735 kV circuit-breakers and transformers and elaborated the engineering for the wiring and connection of equipment into the substation yard.
Finally, we performed modifications to controls, protections and automatic control systems within the four substation control rooms to collect data pertaining to the status of equipment, alarms, signalling and remote signalling of equipment. We have also elaborated, in collaboration with the client, the distributed databases necessary to operations (DD). We have proceeded to the connection of equipment into the various project programmable controller cards. |

PROJECT DESCRIPTION Automation of the Lévis substation (735-315-230 kV) which is one of the nodes in Hydro-Québec's electrical transmission network. Having been in service for more than 30 years, the substation required necessary upgrading of its control systems to adapt them to modern techniques used in the operation of networks and substations via computers, communication networks and programmable controllers. |
