PROJECT CHARACTERISTICS

	The project used high-performance concrete (suitability tests) and self-placing concrete as well as fiberglass reinforcement bars (Isorods).
	The MTQ was satisfied with the services rendered, and budgets and deadlines were met.

SERVICES RENDERED

	Quality control plans within the mandates.
	Verification and acceptance of material certificates, cement concrete and asphalt mix formulas, steel reinforcements, etc.
	Quality control of materials application (soil, cement concrete).
	Soil and cement concrete samples and tests.
	Technical advice and recommendations on quality and the best methods for applying materials.
	Lot reports for material acceptance.
	Participation in work site meetings.
	Periodic and final reports on qualitative material control.
	Soil investigation by borehole and test well.
	Geotechnical studies to establish bearing capacities.
	Investigations into slope stability.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The mandates consisted of establishing quality assurance programs for the qualitative control of materials prior to construction work.

Qualitative control of soil, cement concrete, steel reinforcement and other materials was also assured during construction and Quality Assurance provided on behalf of the MTQ.
