SERVICES RENDERED
Road lighting engineering services for two interchanges, Highway 55 / route 122 and Highway 55 / boulevard Jean-de-Brébeuf.
Lighting for the two interchanges consisted of 30-metre towers, in addition to the traditional light poles for illuminating approaches. Lighting for the control zone was done according to the SAAQ's specific requirements.
The project was executed on the existing rights-of-way. The entire works, including preparation of plans, specifications and construction estimates, were executed within the prescribed timeframes.
All preliminary project activities and follow-up were performed according to the Ministère des Transports' latest requirements. Project design was executed using the Autocad software application. |

PROJECT DESCRIPTION The project involved preparing plans and RFP specifications, as well as onsite supervision of the construction work on the "east" roadway of Highway 55 (the road stretch included between Highway 20 and boulevard Jean-de-Brébeuf).
It comprised, among others, highway engineering works for the construction of the highway's "east" roadway over a 7.3-km stretch, the development of two interchanges (Highway 55 / route 122 and Highway 55 / boulevard Jean-de-Brébeuf), the development of a control zone next to the roadway, the lighting works necessary for the interchanges and the control zone, and moving of existing towers. |
